Actor Denzel Washington Receives Cecil B. DeMille Award at 2016 Golden Globes, the award was specifically chosen by the board of directors of the Hollywood Foreign Press .honor 

Let’s quickly go through his stats;

Washington, 61, has been nominated over a 100 times, and has won 65 of them. Including,

·         Two academy awards,

·         Two seven Golden Globe Awards. He has also won two Academy Awards,

·          two Emmy nominations,

·          one Tony Award,

·         one BAFTA Award,

·         one NAACP Image Award and a Grammy

And last but definitely not the least the Cecil B. DeMille 2016 Award.

He seemed amazingly humbled. Thanking his past agents, who are sadly dead. Washington had a little emotional moment while thanking his mother. Recognition to his wife who helped lighten the mood.
